Commitment to Quality
As owners of the company, every employee is responsible for a quality installation. Quality comes from experience and the company’s deep commitment to formal training, which all employees are required to participate on a frequent basis. As a result, the company boasts 30 electricians who have completed the state-and federally-certified apprenticeship program. In addition, all project managers have attended The Electrical Project Management Institute, an intensive management education program, at Purdue University.
Safety – Always First
RJ Martin places a high priority on providing employees with a safe and clean work environment. This commitment is underscored through its training and enforcement of company policy, state regulations, and OSHA rules. A full time supervisor coordinates training, conducts job site inspections, and internally enforces company, state, and federal regulations. This includes one hour of substance abuse awareness education for all employees each year. In addition to formal safety programs for all employees, RJ Martin is active in Associated Builders and Contractors’ Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) and the Construction Safety Council of Northeast Ohio.
